cant say they have bothered me MUCH - there is a time of year they get pretty bad tho' - I can live thro it better then the wasp epi we had in europe last year or year before

They are just 'Bush flies' they breed in spring/summer. The air-pressure systems create wind patterns that blow them down south into Melbourne, it's horrible, they crawl all over you face and try to get into your mouth and nose! And they don't **** off, every time you scare them off they become more and more persistent!

I'm with you on the state of the dog poo Quoll!!! As you know we walk our dogs every day armed with our poo bags like at home but we are disgusted with other fellow walkers, they just let their dogs squat down, poo and just walk on, slam a huge fine on them I say, it's disgusting!
