Sure is - according to the producers of the show. 
What gets me is why none of the punters say anything. "Thanks Nadia, I enjoyed that parachute jump, but I don't think it's very typical of your average aussie's recreational activities. Isn't there somewhere I can throw a line in the water, sipping VB whilst perched on a blue eskey with triple M buzzing away in the background on a battered radio?"

I watched a family in Darwin last night who live in a £100,000 terrace house and can afford £200,000. They put them up in a gorgeous house complete with swimming pool and proceeded to show them £300,000 houses and surprise, surprise, they chose Australia. It really was mean as you can see that they are being swept along with it all. Hopefully when they get home they'll do some research and realise the real price of accomodation, although it's incredible that some people don't do it already.
