Default fishing?

Hey there, want to learn how to fish, ie where to go, what to use etc, Not been fishing since a kid but seening as its not cold old england, thought it would be nice sat on a river bank in the sun or on our kyaks, Would anyone be intrested in letting me know the basics or even giving some lessons?? River or sea wall fishing would be intresting, cheers, Pete

If you join the local library there are loads of fishing books that will give you an idea of the type of rigs & tackle you need for rivers & estuary's. I found them a godsend when I arrived as the species are totally different to the U.K ones, some very poisonous others inflict serious pain via spines. Have a good read then you'll be better equipped for dealing with the more dangerous critters.
If you happen to find yourself at a loose end one weekend your welcome to join us on a trip out to the Sandy Straits or a Bass chasing session on the local river

Probably only several hundred times He's listening to different music to me. I don't have his energy
