Finally... A beer so good it deserves its own thread.

It's taken even longer than a decent UK Indian Curry, but finally the Aussies have done it. Brewed a beer that matches and surpasses most UK beers.
I wont describe it, just recommend, Grand Ridge, "Gippsland Gold" Pale Ale. Put it in a glass and drink it blind and your swear your in a local boozer in the English Countyside. with a damn good local ale in your hand.
There have been plenty of false starts for this elusive chalice... From Coopers to Little Creatures and beyond. This one actually achieves what it sets out to do.
Go grab as much as you can. Pricey of course 65 bucks a slab.... but probably worth it, when you do the comparisons. I'm addicted already and going to get some more totday.

We love Grand Ridge beer - although we go for the Moonshine. Don't think I've tried the Pale Ale, but will give it a go next time.
