How do us pommies get to watch the world cup this year? Is it going to be on SBS or Foxtel? What games?
Timings are going to be 10.00 pm, 02.30 & 7.30 pm I think?
Any one clued up yet?

- SBS will cover every game (back-to-back for simultaneously played games)
- Kick offs are 9:30pm, midnight and 4:30am
- England games are:
* Sunday 13th Jun 4:30am (USA)
* Saturday 19th Jun 4:30am (Algeria)
* Thursday 24th Jun 00:00am (Slovenia)
and hopefully
* Sunday 27th Jun 04:30am (2nd place of Group D) -OR-
* Monday 28th Jun 00:00am (winner Group D) etc etc....
I shall be watching most games at home - but England games will justify a trip out to "Arrive Derci" in Milton (Brisbane) for the wild atmosphere, crowds, friendly banter and possibly air-horns, hooning in the street and running around with a big 8ft St George flag afterwards

My plan is the best - go back to England for a holiday so I can watch the matches in the right bleedin time zone with a beer or two!
