Stewardess admits what everyone already knew
The other crew members saw them go in and were waiting outside the door while they were at it, probably listening to the noise coming from the toilet.
Would have been embarassing when they both walked out seeing the whole crew there.

read this, the other stewardesses were knocking on the door and trying to open it and get in while they were at it. Maybe they were jealous and wanted him for themselves
