Feeling so far away...

ive settled over here really well and just when you think things are going well something happens that shakes you up and makes you realise you realy are quite far away from all your loved ones.

I had an email from a friend of mine this morning saying that another friend of mine at work had found out that her 17 yr old daughter had been killed the night before in a car accident.

Its really knocked me for six, not being able to go and talk to my friend and just be with her.

not really sure what i am hoping to achieve with this message but i needed to get it off my chest.

tis a hard one to respond to, and very hard to know what to say to your friend who's daughter who was involved in the crash. maybe give her a call and let her know you are there when she needs you.

Blimey, Dont know what to say really, thats just too tragic.
Hope you managed to speak your friend & let her know you're there even if too far away to physically be there
