Favourite part of Australia.

Just one or maybe 2 photos, I have cheated because its my thread. :D
For me it is Far North Queensland, I could never live there because of the weather but when we lived in Queensland it was somewhere I tried to get to at least twice a year. Loved the rainforest and the wildlife.

Lush.

A few honourable mentions:

Alpine District

Lots of little favourite pockets (or places representing experiences)
the rolling hills and ranges of Gippsland to the SE of Melbourne
the rolling hills where we live
Philip Island

Nice pics, you should try Mount Tamborine, it looks like that but minus the coastline and humidity.

And 'tis where I will be on Saturday if the weather forecast is accurate ... 39 in the city, at least 42 here ... Time for an ice cream methinks. :)

Roll on winter for me ;)

We went to Mt Tamborine many times over the years.

Right here on the Mid North Coast, Manning Valley. I lived in QLD for 20 years and whenever we drove down to Sydney I just yearned to move to Northern NSW, now I'm here and loving it. Apart from the "tourist bureau" shot, these are all just random shots on the way out from Old Bar to Gloucester via Wingham for SWMBO's medical appointment, just stopped the car now and again where there was a safe pull-in. Beach is one street away from our place at Old Bar.

Edit: square shots are my mobile phone, wide shots are my trusty Kodak that excels for landscapes when the battery doesn't run out because someone forgot to charge it :frown:.

Love Yamba, haven't been there for 10 years and glad to see there's no high rise. Got plastered at the Pacific Hotel a few times.

I live in a tourist area so don't have to travel far to get to the 'beauty spots' people mention. My house is in this picture.

Haven't been around Aus, and no idea how to post photos on here, (technologically moronic am I,) but my hope is that this year we might actually get out of Sydney and explore NSW a bit more.:fingerscrossed:

I visited the Great Ocean Road about 8 months ago. I thought that was pretty special. Visited Port Stephens about 3 hours north of Sydney a few weeks back. Very nice spot. Photo included. Always a fan of Jervis Bay, the white sands and the turquoise water.

Nope....I can't even take the photos as I shake too much, let alone get the memory card out of the camera and download it...after that I have no idea what to do.
