Blimey, yeah. You'd have to be careful to check the attendee list before introducing it at your kids birthday party.

Another game we've enjoyed for years has been Rumicub - similar to the rummy card game.

A good point. Also, their online buddies are scattered all over the world - a meet up could get expensive.
Will have to try that one - sounds like something they'd all like.

When we lived in the UAE, one of the local boys brought a good game into school (which the Aussie teacher quickly confiscated) it was two handles with a pretty good electric current flowing through them - two players would grab hold of the handles at the same time and the winner was the one who could stand the pain the longest - first one to let go lost.

ppffftttttt, we used to play that game as kids on the electric fences that surrounded some fields near the village I grew up in.

All stand in a line, one hand on the electric fence and see how many pulses up your arm you could stand! Odd sensation.

I told my wife this story once and she said it explains a lot

We used to dare each other to touch electric fences as a kid too - ours must have been turned up to a slightly higher voltage though because we just used to get thrown back on the ground with a huge jolt - good for a laugh once you come back to reality.
