I prefer to stick with mainstream food in a steak format. (no organs)
I've tasted most of the african game meats including:-
Buffalo, Elephant, Warthog, Giraffe and most of the buck varieties like Springbok, Impala, Kudu etc...
I did have caviar for the first time on Tuesday this week.
My wife says she's had crocodile, snake and snails plus all the game meat above.
No black pudding, snails or frogs legs for me. Thank you!

I once tried a local dish of the mountain areas here. It was a stew but made from chunks of donkey meat.

I like emu but am not fussed on kangaroo or crocodile witchetty grubs were more of a dare than a culinary experience

Oh yeah - I forgot for a minute that the Italians like to eat little birds. Quite a tradition on November 1st.

I had bats before but can't remember if I was told about it before or after I ate it. Can't quit recall what it tasted like, I think it had the texture of chicken. Not very appetising when you think about how ugly these creatures are Also tried pig's brain a long time ago, didn't really have a taste. Not much difference between that and tofu.
Its an international effort really, they cut off the fin and the Aussies scope up the finless shark for fish & chips

Following the name to see what it really is, I ended up up with this from wikipedia ?
Rock salmon, (also called Rock eel, Flake, and Huss in the UK) is the flesh of any one of many species of small shark, including the Spiny dogfish or the bull huss (Scyliorhinus stellaris).
Consumed in many European countries, rock salmon is sold by fish and chip shops in the UK

Huss also called Dogfish is a type of shark belonging to the family Scyliorhinus (Catshark family). In the UK they are also known as Rock Salmon, a name thought up by marketeers to make them more acceptable to consumers and are one of the popular fish sold in Fish & Chip shops.
And I always thought it was just an Australian thing !!

I'm not a big meat eater at all, I can do without it pretty much. Pig is my favourite animal if I do eat meat.
I'd be as well giving the stuff up though.

Ive tried wombat which is similar to lamb or beef and echidna which was weird although not very exciting. The weirdest thing Ive ever tasted are lychees. Not sure what to make of them and I think they may be evil.

I tried the maggot cheese in Sardinia - an experience never to be repeated
One of my favourite meats is a pigs head - the cheeks are delicious - however, I pretty much eat most things, apart from welks and snails too much like a rubber band and a gritty bogey!
