Only once, when I was at uni. One mate knew a friend of a friend that was having a party and about 6 of us went round there at chucking out time. We got a few funny looks but nothing more. At least not until later. There was only one loo in the house and about 50 people there so the queue was very long. So two of us decided to be efficient by having a pee at the same time. The look on everyone's faces when we walked out of the bathroom together was priceless. God knows what they thought we had been up to!

Well, have you? Who's was it? Was it good? Did they ask you to leave? Did you cause a scene? Was it fun? Did anyone notice?

God yeah...loads. Used to go back to people parties after night clubbing. Never knew who they were, but nobody cared. Never saw them again either:D

Was great!

Loads and loads of them. Most of the time no-one noticed. At company parties I crashed people asked me which department I worked in. "I'm the new guy in internal audit" ususally prevented further questions.

I did get thrown out of one, in Brisbane, Australia. It was a party for the New Zealand cricket team. The bouncer didn't believe my story that I was with Chris Cairns. :(

Buzzy, you've just reminded me - I did crash a company party one year. I'd been made redundant by them earlier in the year, and I was at the party of the place I was contracting for, which was at a neighbouring hotel.

The one I was at was incredibly tame and boring (Abbey National, say no more), so I crashed the other one. The new IT Director took a shine to me (must have been the fishnet stockings) and I ended up going back on almost double the salary. :D

Never gatecrashed a party but i had to go to a funeral to represent the company, shook hands with the vicar and was ushered down to the front, only half way through i realised i was at the wrong funeral:ohmy: I could hardly get up and leave so i just sat it out.
Then to add to my misery the family insisted i went back to their house afterwards.

Re: Ever Gate-Crashed a Party?

gate crashed several tame parties in me time .. but i recall as a student nurse a load of girls in my set gatecrashed a party - the nurses home bordered part of elton johns managers estate (we trained at mount vernon hospital down in north london) and a party was being held there for him; the girls scaled the fence, got chatted up by some fstaff who introduced them round - one of the people they were introduced to was billy connolly ... my mate sharon was dead chuffed!!

me? i was in bed at the time with the mother of all hangovers ...:lol::lol:

Loads in my younger days but only one recently :D

OH and I went away to a hotel a few weekends ago. It was great during the day - spa, pool, golf but there was no evening entertainment other than a wedding. We waited until after the food and joined in with the dancing :D
Nobody said a thing

One wonders, can one crash a party in one's own home?
