Ever Gate-Crashed a Party?

:)

Well, have you? Who's was it? Was it good? Did they ask you to leave? Did you cause a scene? Was it fun? Did anyone notice?

I haven't , but on friday we had our leaving party. Then half way through the night, this family of 10 walking in. My friend asked who was they i just said i dont know must be someone my hubby knows. It was only when we were leaving my Oh asked me who was them people with all the kids, then we realised they were gate crasher ... but the funny thing is they even left us a good luck message in our book, it was more than some of our family member did ..The cheek of some people ..

That's fab! I met someone in Sydney the other month who was just off to gate crash a party at the local surf club... it looked like a very nice do and had I been dressed smarter, I would have gone in too! :D

I think so... but you have to have enough confidence to do it. My swimmers and shorts really didn't cut the mustard that night. But next time...

Excellent tip. I'll remember that.

I can't believe there aren't more funny stories of gate crashed parties on here yet. This IS BE, isn't it? I haven't got the Catholic Weekly's website by mistake, have I?

now you mention it, yes.

It was New Years Eve, cant remeber which one, and some bloke was having a do in his flat. Cant remember how we got in but we did. Got hammered, my mate sat on the glass coffee table and smashed it, i drank too much and went to be sick in the toilet, but missed by about 3 feet.

managed to clean it all up though, and they are all still mates now!

Re: Ever Gate-Crashed a Party?

I haven't but a couple of years ago a friend threw me a "surprise" birthday party. We were on holiday on my actual birthday and I wasn't going to bother with a party but she thought I should, so talked to my husband about it. He knows I hate anything like that so agreed she could do it if he could let me in on it, and get a list of who to invite.

It was a huge early evening pool party at her equally huge house and it was just getting going when I turned round to see a couple walking down the long driveway, in black tie and carrying a bottle of fizz. I wondered, who the f*** are they? Who invited them? And why are they dressed like that???

It turned out they were a couple of houses out and at the wrong party. They were so mortified, I felt so sorry for them.

(I did invite them to stay but I think the Ukranian sailors I also hadn't invited scared them off.)
