Evaporative air con - waster water quality
Anybody out there know what the quality of the waste water is that gets expelled by evaporative aircon units?
My outlet pipe is outside my living room window. It has taken my five years to realise that maybe I could be saving and recycling this water. I presume it won't be good enough for drinking, but what about for watering the garden?
I'm wondering if I can set up some sort of temporary piping to route the water into my rainwater tank, which then goes onto the garden each evening, and also for flushing the toilets. There would have to be an approx. 2m 'up' pipe to go from ground level up to the top of the tank, but I'm hoping that as the aircon unit is much higher up the roof, physics will do its job and the water will flow up just fine .. ?
Cheers

The pipe will have to be rerouted to the tank so that it goes directly down to the containment tank.
The water won't go up unless you install some kind of pump to do it.
