Don't want to sound like the Undertake in Dodge City, but I love hearing stories like this. The techy business I plan to set up in Oz will deal with these sorts of issues...

if its 128Mb then it will be a solid state player. Just plug it into a USB port, and windows will pick it up as another disc or device

just drag and drop your MP3's into it, and it will play just fine

or at least it should !!

Yep it does, it works fine thanks

I hadn't realised I needed to format it first, once I'd done that it was fine.

Ok - my turn now !

I've got an ipod and it was a doddle to set up - daughter's MP3 is a mystery to me. I downloaded a cd to ipods and then tried to drag and drop to MP3 which pc said had worked but MP3 says 'no disc'.

The ipod songs are mpegs - is this the reason ? If so - how do I change that ?
