I remember when I was a kid there were actual films on the BBC regarding what to do if Russia decided to send over a nuclear bomb, most of it from what I can remember involved hiding under the kitchen table !?!

So if it looks a bit dodgy on the 21st get running for the kitchen, not sure what those will do if they don't have one...... good idea for a film maybe

The end of the world is actually the 31st December 2013. Our chemist gave us a calendar and there are no dates after that one so it must be right.

there was a film from 196? which was banned so as not to frighten sensitive souls. We were shown it at uni late 1980s.....it was based around a nuclear bomb dropping on Manston airport in Kent- about 2 miles from my house at the time.

We locals always thought there was something dodgy going on at the RAF base there...

Anyway we have plans for 22nd- should I continue. Might save a bit of money buying no Christmas presents ' but I thought the world was going to end'
