I found this website recently and think it's pretty funny. I particularly liked this one today which is supposedly from someone in the British Tax department.

As someone who was the victim of 2 mugging attempts by the IR I can sympathise with the original letter writer. They got some measured responses from me, especially when they admitted the second attempt was because they "forgot about the tax free allowance on capital gains".

Bunch of bloody cowboys.
