Does anyone have any recommendations?
We'd liked to have tired Pata Negra in Nedlands but it is closed as I suspect lots of places will be.
Don't really want to try any more indian places....not found anything remotely nice and it is wifey's birthday so we want to enjoy.
Cocos and Frasers have been suggested but been to both before. Looking for something a bit different. Also recently tried Red Herring.

I think there was a thread may be 3-4 months ago with places to eat but for some reason I can't get the search facility to work.

Check out Paul Conti's Winery on the Wanneroo Rd near Wangarra, Looks like a small tea room cafe. Excellent food and a lovely atmostphere.
Well worth a visit if your North of the River

If you fancy a drive north through the Swan Valley, Stewarts at Brookleigh is nice, lovely setting, friendly efficient service and lovely food
