Default Do you use exercise dvd's/video's?

I do, lately I have been watching Beverly Callard's rapid results [note: watching] just for comedy value if nothing else. The men's outfits in the exercise group look like something Julian Clarey may have hanging up in his wardrobe from back in the day. Bev's favourite quotes are: 'come on now', 'what are we doing?' [Bev asks] 'we're shimmyyyying!' [yells Shaz, Sonia & Pat in response] and Bev with mad scarey eyes shouts out 'feel it' when your supposed to be lifting your tins of baked beans.
It's great, I've not lost one kilo, but I have lost my double chin from laughing so much.

I got the Nell McAndrew peak fitness, first time I got it out the box I felt quite knackered watching it (well just the warm up bit at the beginning) whilst eating my crisps. As I finished work early today I thought I`d better haul my fat arse off the sofa and start jumping around like a loon in my living room. Lasted all of 10 minutes (didn`t realise how bad my arm/leg co-ordination was before )got fed up with it (a) because I was knackered after 2 minutes and (b) because I couldn`t hear the instructions for my daughter rolling on the floor laughing at me.
You won`t be suprised to learn that I still have my beer gut and the dvd is safely back in it`s box and hidden somewhere so cunning I`ll forget where I actually put it

hahahaha I have this one too! watched it once, did the warm up - collapsed - never been out the dvd case since. I don't like it - its just exercise - boring. Bev Callard's [read - Liz Mcdonald from corrie] dvd is much better. 80's stylie but yet normal.

I have got Angela Griffins DVD and its really good, its a dance one which I prefer and you can feel the strain on your body. I used it everyday the first week but then I got lazy I must dig it out, dust it off and get back into it
