Default Do you talk to your kids on facebook?

Do you?

Some times it feels like the only time I speak to them... They can be at friends... Or in the next room....

Do yours object to you speaking to them? Or do you have the kind of relationship where they're happy to have you as friends?

Mine are all okay with me... And I'd rather I had access to them thean not...

What do you think?

Well, not on Facebook (there I mostly embarrass them by tagging them in family photos that they would rather forget) but we 'chat' on World of Warcraft.

When Himself and I were mods on AOL we used to IM each other while we were 'working' (even though we were sat next to each other) so there has kind of been a precedent set (did I mention this week how sad I am? )

Yep. Mine are fine with it, but they're young. The eldest told me to GO AWAY the other day when I wrote "repeat after me "I'm the ants red pants" on her wall to try and get her to remember to be confident.

Have First Born as a friend and have the occasional comment passed between us but Tiddler refuses to have any member of the famiy as friends. She did have my sister but then blocked her much to the sisters disgust.

Only my eldest has an account on FB & we are not FB friends by mutual choice. I need my own space as much as he does.

My mother is a facebook friend of mine. And sometimes I wonder why I did that. Sure. I may be 40 years old but sometimes, after a few drinks, you post stuff. Regret sets in and then you are reminded of that regret when your mother phones you a week later and asks "was that a hamster ?"

OK well, maybe not a hamster, but the point remains. Facebook friendship is for people in your life that you don't mind if they are privy to the odd mistake when pissed and in left in a cab with your iphone with nothing better to do.
