Aren't you "supposed" to have a break every few hours, whether you're doing a physical job or sitting at a computer? Can I ask what you do? It would be worth checking it out - I'm sure there's probably a workplace website or something similar. It would irk me that you can't even nip out for something during the day - sounds like she's a bit over the top. Maybe its time to find a new job........

You would need to check if there is a workplace agreement in place with your employer, as it might cover lunch breaks. There is no such thing as 'legally' having a 15 minute paid break every 4 hours, I wish
