Awww iPOM I didnt know you were feeling like this! I dont live far from you and I love a good bottle of wine a and a good slag off of the other half! :D
I've got a friend here who just doesnt get the 'slagging off' thing. Shes an Aussie and we get on really really well but I know that EVERYTHING I say or do she tells her hubby about! WTF is all that about!! Sometimes I forget to say hello to my hubby let alone tell him my mates friggin life story!! :D I'm lucky enough to have a lot of friends around here who also came from the UK to work at the same place as hubby but I also like to get involved with the Aussies as much as possible too - I do struggle with their sense of humour sometimes though I must admit but I just smile in the right places (well I hope I do anyway!! :D ) I'm having a 'pamper party' on 7th Feb mate if you're interested (while the kids are at school!!). Its a long way off I know but you're more than welcome. Maybe we could arrange a night out for somewhere half way between yours and mine? Where would that be? Other half also has a set of golf clubs and a Huge bag of balls that I would be happy to draw faces on!! :D Speak to you soon Rach xxxx PS - I still get lonely even though I have a lot of people around me. :o |

I'm not constantly morose or morbid or anything... just once in a blue moon. No doubt today I shall kick some serious ass again. But it's good it's not just me and that other people feel it too. I guess it's important for the people in the UK to read too, if they're considering hopping over here. Between you and me would probably be Penrith? I don't know - And Ive never had a night out down there before but I'd be willing to try... :D Pamper party sounds good.... I can get a freedom voucher! I had a 'friend' in the uk who just didn't get me talking about my hub... she'd defend him all the time to me and I was like 'ok, this isn't working is it?!' Where i live ive tried having body shop partys , candle partys in fact anything to meet people and have a laugh over a few bottles of wine. But no one bothers coming which i find hard to understand. Im going to be on the move again soon as hubby is getting moved on and this time i will be going with him back to army housing. Simply because im more lonley without him than i ever was with him. We have been married for 16 years and together for 19. my friends compare us to a comfy pair of old slippers .
