They have taken over the Bay for sure...

They filmed an episode of Dr Who and Torchwood in the building where I used to work in Cardiff!!!

The film crew were a nightmare.... I am a safety advisor and what they were doing gave me kittens I can tell you:eek:

From beautiful Cardiff originally, but now living in a peaceful, sleepy hamlet in the North of England, by the name of Manchester.....

I'd be happy to migrate back to Cardiff but my OH won't go because of "the funny accents" .

Mind you, she's a real Manc so she thinks anyone who speaks English has a funny accent !! :lol:

Anyway, we're headed for Perth in January and can't wait !

i went to a party here in july and met a really nice welsh girl who was really struggling here. so i did a thread to see how many of her crowd were her. didnt get a lot of trplies.
i think she is still struggling:(

The forum can be a scary place - so many people and if you are not confident in yourself you can take big knocks on here....

The fact that it is not quite real or tangible is the problem I think. Although for many of us this is also an attraction.

If you can coax her back I will make an effort to cheer her - she might wish you hadn't though:eek:

Ransi I can't believe you haven't heard the word cwtch mun!!!!! It's def used as far as mid Wales,

but hugging and coal cupboard are spelt (valleys dialect- not spelled) differently, cwch and cwtch

And saying it came from English is bollocks sorry, Couche looks bloody French to me....
