Only 20% of the permanent migrants in my family have any discernible skills (apart from the ability to talk complete rubbish (me) or grunt monosyllabically on a wide range of subjects (three teenagers)

One success is that the UK is less racist now that it was then but then I think that's just a natural progression. The same could be said for most, if not all, western countries.

It is but I reckon it's in spite of multiculturalism rather than because of it.
