I have just watched on TV footage what those schoolboys did to that poor 'handicapped' girl. It has upset me and my OH so much we are in tears. If you live in Melbourne/Weribee and you know these kids or their family, do the world a favour and get a vigilante together and hunt them down and make them feel what that poor girl felt. Evil walks these days. Sometimes I think the end of the world won't be a bad thing. The fact that they openly showed them selves on camera is almost unbelieveable. Sadly it is real.

I was gobsmacked last night that the news reported one had been expelled from school, but there was no mention of police charges. I hope that has changed?

Haven't heard anything about this as still in UK but can only imagine what horrendous crime they have committed. Hope punishment comes swiftly. Remember poor little Jamie Bulger from Bootle Liverpool who was murdered by 2 older boys, well the lads were freed from prison around their 18th birthdays, had names changed, given lovely homes, new identities the lot. CRIME PAYS.
What are we teaching the children nowadays?

The Jamie Bulger story stays with me until this day and beyond I expect, I have never felt so horrified as I did about this story and still do. I hope one day that these 'scum' suffer a million times more than their innocent victims did and rot in hell!!!

I havent seen the footage of that incident for some years now, but the vision of that poor little kid walking off innocently with those two boys will stay with me forever.

I read in the Courier Mail online that the parents have contacted the police and arranged for their boys to be interviewed. They seem pretty disgusted themselves. Its not always the parents fault.

Good on the parents.. but why leave it to the parents, the police should have been on it like a shot.

sometimes i look around my class and wonder out of them who will be the doctor, solicitor, brickie, etc..then i can usually pick out the ones who will be in trouble with the law.

despite everthing some people just have that nastiness in them.

Indeed, a terrible thing to happen, however, without sounding like I'm having a go - can I correct you on your terminology?

The word 'handicapped' stems from many years ago when disabled children would sit on street corners with 'cap in hand' begging for food and/ or money. I imagine some would actually find the phrase quite offensive now-a-days?

That's the phrase I just heard them use on the news but then it was channel 7's. ABC said 'learning disabled'.

I agree also !

but you know, the most annoying thing about it is there will be some group of "do - gooders" that will appear from the woodwork saying that we cant infringe on their human rights, and not to be too hard on them cause they're only children etc etc and other crap like that! Those little sods should be locked up and they key thrown away!!
Its like the kids who killed that poor little boy Jamie Bulger, its not fair that they got given new identities, new homes etc they should have had to face up to what they had done !!!!
