Default Digital Camcorders - recommendations

Hi There.

Looking to buy a digital camcorder for when we get over to Adelaide. Was hoping for some good recommendations from any experienced 'Steven Speilbergs' out there !

Been on quite a few web-sites, narrowed my list down to a few then found more web-sites that contradict my findings.

If anyone has a camcorder which is aroung the £400 - £500 mark, ccd of less than 1/6, Optical zoom of over 15 x, good sound recording, over 0.8mp, and image stabilization. (to be going on with !).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Diane

Hi

Stop off and buy one in Singapore!
You will have a massive choice then.
Sony's are very good, only negative is cost of memory sticks though!

Worthwhile looking at Ebay as I got a very nice JVC camcorder for around 50% of the Comet price.
