Not condoning his crime in the slightest, but is it really fair that he should be deported to the UK on release from prison - when he has lived in Australia since he was one year old?

If he hasnt taken out citizenship then its his problem - no sympathy with him being deported.
Strikes me as an evil tosser so would be happy to see him deported. Saying that, I am assuming he has never taken out citizenship?

If he had dual citizenship they would be very unlikely to be able to deport him for this crime. Like I said, I'm not condoning it, and he should have got himself citizenship, but it does seem very harsh when his whole life has been spent here.

I suppose they just could do it so they did. Hasn't got a lot to go back to has he.

No farting around here - too lazy to get citizenship and too up yourself to abide by the law - get out.

Looks like all the duffers are headed to the UK and the brains (according to another thread) are heading this way.
I saw an article on the net, but can't find it again. Something about a new half way house opening in Herefordshire.
