Debenhams Now Delivering to Australia
Just received an email from Debenhams saying that they are now delivering to Australia for the pricey sum of 14.00 pounds. Use the link below for details.

Once upon time, many years ago in a galaxy far far away, I would deride these thread on the basis of why would anyone want to shop in British dept stores. However, given the exchange rate and the fleecing that seems to be rampant in Australian stores - sounds good to me now!

Normal RRP 50GBP, currently reduced to 40GBP
With 15% off = 34GBP
+ 14 GBP delivery
Total 48 GBP
Exchange rate 48 GBP = 79.12 dollars
Retails at $120 over here?

- Their "customer service" staff wouldn't know what service was if it slapped them around the head
- They sent the wrong stuff
- They overcharged me and wouldn't give my money back until I raised a dispute with my card company
Will have to keep my fingers crossed that John Lewis starts delivering overseas. I'd happily bankrupt myself shopping there!
