The dead thread

Given that they've found a baby mammoth and fully intend to muck around with it and make a new one,

I was wondering who else we could clone and bring back to life.

Please state your reason along with your chosen victim.

I'd like to start the running with Frank Sinatra. He looks ok in a tux.

Nick Drake.
He should be brought back, so he can see how his music has touched so many people.

A friend of mine when asked what he would do if he had a clone replied "Kill it before it kills me." Kinda makes sense...

Elvis. Get him off the drugs and the crap food, take him away from the hanger ons and see him as he should have been. Frank is a close second though.

Actually scrub all that. People die when it's time so I don't want anyone brought back, it's not right.

Where's the fun in that?

I may pick Stalin too. There's a man who knew how to party. ;)

I think he'd fall down on the job... remember how his leg was always wobbling?

I think we should bring back Alexander Graham Bell whilst we're here. I imagine he was a great conversationalist...

Apparently his last word was 'No'... so I really want to ask him what he meant... .:D

I'm personally not a fan of the Royal family, but I do wonder what the UK would be like now if Diana were still alive.

Re: The dead thread

Come on people, choices so far are a bit lame. We can listen to any of the pop singers or composers on disc.
How about bringing an inspirational leader or two back?
Winston Churchill, JFK, Gandhi, or Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King how about Leonardo da Vinci we could ask him where he drew some of his ideas from, he'd be a good at a dinner party;)
