Tonight we have 8 of the leggy things in the front room - Andy is now clapping his hand like a freak trying to get them out of the french doors for me....

Have not dared go upstairs to see how many have invaded....

Ah bless the poor things - this morning I woke up to find one dead on the bathroom floor, one in my son's room, two dead in the sink and one dead in a leftover glass of wine (at least he died happy!)

Well, its been on the news today that we are experiencing a lot more daddy long legs due to the ground being soft. The egg is laid in the ground and the grub works its way out to fly off, often a lot dont get out because the ground is too hard.

so there you have it, its like the old kids programme HOW isnt it :D

went for a walk in the field near us tonight and saw what i thought were the seeds of hundreds of dandilions. however when we looked it was thousands and i mean thousands of DDL flying all around us. :scared:
