Daddy Long Legs

Where have they all come from?!? We've got loads suddenly appeared around our house, keep finding them inside as well - what's going on!

Invasion of the long legs, anyone else suffering?

yes - its that time of year again, keep your lights off if the door is open
my sister has this great whacky thing that you swat them with - in fact they only have to barely touch the thing and the poor little insect gets it (a shock)

They're so delicate aren't they! I tried to catch one to put it outside but just ended up with a couple of legs :o

I think it's the sudden warm spell we've had, because I've also had loads of them around over the last few days. Saw a HUGE one clinging to the outside window last night, and I couldn't relax until I'd been round and closed all the windows and checked none of the little buggers were inside! I HATE Daddy-Long-Legs.

We have been lucky that they haven't ever brought anything horrid back though - worst was they chased a frog round the garden - had to get Andy to rescue it as it was making some weird noises....

You are indeed lucky - we've had mice, dead and alive, birds dead and alive and frogs always alive. The worst was a headless pigeon!

Lol, he thinks he's a lion. He's a very wild cat, feral really - we got him from a rescue centre, I cannot believe he ever needed rescuing!
