Wow, the Poms really gave it to the French in the cycling. Good on 'em. I think we are going to see some more Gold for GB in the velodrome this weekend.....

GB only normally get about 5 golds in the Olympics. This time they have 7 already (same as Australia), with more cycling, sailing, rowing and athletics to come - events where they usually get gold.

Australia has got a lot of silver, missing out here and there. They might have less gold chances in hand now.

I think GB are having a great Olympics. Yesterday was their greatest day ever in Olympic history - and they have more to come.
