Yes, I'm sick of a body of educators being in charge of the national curriculum that has been accepted in labor and conservative states ...a hard-right member of the Liberal Party like Kevin Donnelly would obviously be a lot more qualified.

Though the Liberal Party press release does tell us that "Dr Donnelly is currently Executive Director of the Education Standards Institute".

"currently" ? I would have thought "always" was more appropriate given a lookup of the ABN shows it is just a consultancy owned by K DONNELLY FAMILY TRUST to spout his views and collect his fees, not an important educational body like is implied.

The Magna Carta is more relevant to modern Australia than aboriginal culture is. We are a strong, peaceful and successful western democratic country with values built on a judeo-christian foundation. Why on earth would we want to erode that foundation?
