Skittled for 191 but the Aussies are 3 for 48
A pitch suited to bowlers (slightly) and some rubbish top-order batting (thanks in part to T20 no doubt) makes for interesting Test matches.
I just hope England don't go the same way against Pakistan soon.

England have not played for a while and it will be interesting to see how they go on neutral ground. I expect them to win that series but not 3-0.
Now for the destruction of Sri Lanka..........

Aussie going all right - 116/3. Australia are starting to gel as a new team with younger players being brought in. They've found their groove with bowling but still looking for batsmen - they'll find them. They are on the right track. It's also obvious that Clarke is a far superioer captain to Ponting, and it shows.

I think the England win will be a narrow one too but who knows if the bookies are involved.

Expecting a big SA bounce-back too, could be brutal ...

Enjoyed watching Kallis and the boys putting the SL bowlers to the sword last night. They were terrible, but why did Dilshan put SA in on that pitch? A clusterf**k of epic proportions.

Talking of cricket (which I'd rather not, but there you go), husband is going to the WACA next week for the Test Match. He wants to know if you can take your own beer in, or do you have to buy it there (he's not in the alcohol-free section). Anyone know?

I'm not aware of any sporting ground in the country allowing it to be honest.

Having seen the behaviour at the one cricket match I was dragged to in the UK, I can see why.

Brilliant return to form by Punter. As for Clarke... well, I'm practically speechless. Hussey's digging in nicely as well. We're approaching 500 already. Reminds me of the good old days!
The Indian team look about as happy as they'd be if all their sisters ran away from home and married Pakistanis.

Haven't seen a ball of it today, I've been watching fit birds with rackets up close (some men were playing too apparently ...).Looks like a towelling has been administered.
