Re: The Cricket Thread
Cricket knowledge 101 = Call it a deck, not a wicket. Repeat (ad infinitum) bowlers win matches, and repeat what the commentators say, but in shorter words because the long ones confuse you.
Anyone who rises to the bait that De Kock, and Smithy were laying has only got themselves to blame. It's designed to put you off your game, and every one of them gets personal, crying innocent once someone bites is just silly. |
Re: The Cricket Thread
Interesting read guys, but hey, come on. It's only cricket (or not).
Rabada gone is a shame, but his own fault. Too bad. Hopefully it will be a great contest to the end of the series. :fingerscrossed: |

Very level head chap, understands what he need to get right. He could potentially be one of the greatest bowlers ever by the time he finishes. This is a big call but greatest wicket taker ever. |
Re: The Cricket Thread
..... and England thought the Ashes went badly.

I don't think it warranted a suspension. All part of the fun.

Miraculously he is playing in this test. I believe it is the first time ever an appeal has been upheld.

The 15 min highlights were actually the full innings plus adverts.
On another note, Australia not feeling too great about themselves at the moment. We shall see what transpires. |

Re: The Cricket Thread
:rofl:, hilarious. Aussie team takes another sportsmanship down turn, winning isn't always the priority.
The good thing is that he was man enough not to throw Bancroft under the bus, but the flip side is that it's a 'they can't sack us all' ploy. Smithy has a moral obligation to take responsibility and fall on his sword. Saying everyone's at it isn't an excuse. |

Re: The Cricket Thread
An endlessly amusing sport, Cricket, and long may it continue ...
What, indeed, were they thinking? English batters and Australian tamperers I mean. I really like Smith’s constant “Sorry, we did wrong but let’s move on†stance ... not up to you buddy. As I just texted my Australian mate who ribbed me about being skittled for next to nothing, at least we aren’t cheating our way to defeat .. |
Re: The Cricket Thread
I have it on good authority this is a set up by Marsh-Gate.
Watch this space. |
