Could try the Kabalason in Joondalup ( next to the Red Turban ) for a take away. It started off really good but i think it has gone down hill a bit, havent had one for a while.
There is one in Whitfords, i cant remember its name. ( situated near Nandos ) Which has been recommended. Perhaps you could try it first then let us know !
Do tend to make my own more now but can never get it quite right !

The only half decent curry i have had is 5 Rivers in Woodvale. At least they do chicken breast. All the others don't.

cook it at home, it's much nicer and if you follow the recipies from Madhur Jefferys curry bible, it's the real deal, made for the indian palate not the british one so the food wont look as what you are used to but bloody hell it's a thousand times better.

There is a very good curry house in Fremantle. I cant recall the name now but its won loads of awards over many years. We had been struggling to find a decent one then found this. Excellent. I;m sure a web search will reveal its identity.

the masala in clarkson is very average, at best, but the little place at Beaumauris (think its called the Shenai) isnt half bad .
PS. Remember as expats it is your DUTY to report on good curry !!!!!!!!!!

I had an Indian taxi driver in Sydney the other day and he asked me if I was from Birmingham
I told him I was from Wales and he said your accent is the same as the ones from Birmingham
They have better curry in Birmingham than anywhere else I have been
Apparently his brother lives there and he went to visit for a wedding 10 years ago
I thought that was funny - we had a conversation about curry all the way from the airport to the office....

Had one from Kabalason in Joondalup last night, and although it was 'proper' naan bread & the sauce was good, it was not chicken breast
