Re: The cost of a dirty weekend away
I got an offer the other day for $290 for a room for 2 in a five star resort, with seafood buffet dinner for 2 plus a buffet breakfast for 2 thrown in.
Probably wouldn't want much breakfast after a big seafood buffet dinner but I thought that was a good deal... especially since we could drive there.
Sadly it won't be possible as child abandonement is frowned upon.

$70 for the GP's appointment, possibly a couple of hundred $$ for the shots and follow-up if no long term re-infection.

If I had a dirty weekend away the missus would either divorce me or kill me, either way it would be an expensive weekend.
