Default OT, but if you shop in Tesco Read This?

If you do then look here.....

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...&page=35&pp=10

I've been using online codes from here for the last month and have now saved over £30. Plus I'm not having to actually drag two small kids round the supermarket or spend extra £s on crap I don't need just because it looks nice.

The catch - every one of you who saves money with this owes me a drink

Have to say I hardly ever set foot in a real grocery store now - I nearly always use Tesco Direct and it takes me 5 minutes and I find I spend a lot less because I only buy what I need rather than filling the trolley with crap that catches my eye. Do they have a similar sort of thing in Oz for Groceries??

You should definately look at that site then GobbyJock. I usually save £5 or £10 per shop. It pays for a delivery plus a few bits and pieces.

I'd be curious about something similar in Oz too.

I do so much internet shopping with voucher codes it's untrue. E.g this week I found a code for Vertbaudet - £10 off £20 and free P&P, so twice I've ordered £20 of clothes for the bub and only paid £10 and no delivery charges!

Also try sites like these
http://hotukdeals.com/vouchers.php
http://ukshops.savemoney.name/vouchers.html

At Xmas, I got 20% off everything at Early Learning Centre & Jo Jo Maman Bebee, money off at John Lewis, Boots, M&S.

If there's anything I need to buy, I always look for a code before placing an order.

Exactly, I did that today. Looked at the most recent posts, found a code which suited me (e.g. £5 off when spending £50) copied it into the relevant box at the Checkout on Tesco.com and hey presto, a fiver off my shopping.

Don't know what happened to thel ink I posted as I was lookin at the most recent post when I copied it, sorry.

so, if you use these certain codes for buying on-line, there is no comeback?

you just enter them at the applicable place
seems to good to be true. also, there was a link re the tesco one, that advises that tesco have 'rumbled' these 'illgotten' (sorry for this choice of wording? ) codes and are dealing with the problem.

are they okay to use?

I've used the moneysavingexpert site for months for the Tesco codes`- absolutely brilliant. It's never failed me yet . I never thought to post about it here before .

That's amazing - it's a great site. I guess Tesco will catch up with it all one day, but until then there's not much they can do about it. BTW, if you ever get asked where it originated, just say you got it from them in an email but you've deleted the original. I actually did get such an email from them once as my previous weeks delivery had been way late and they gave me a code for £10 off the next week.

I think there's a few of you who owe me some karma then???
