many more brownie points if you go at midnight tonight

If I left now then there would be several consquences:
1) There'd be no Harry Potter book bought ... no sales here until 9am
2) I'd lose my licence ... I'd get caught drunk-in-charge
3) Almost certain divorce as a result of 1) and 2)

So, I think I'll wait until tomorrow (afternoon), on balance :)

Righty dokey, an agreement on British Expats!

I've had a squint at our temperature (via a very geeky but useful website) and it's 5 degrees POSITIVE out there, balmy compared to the last 2 nights so I'm off for my last-thing-ciggy then to bed.

Dunno why you needed to know that but it seemed like a good place to sign-off for the day, I'm afraid I am very, very drunk

barocca is great for when you have to go to work after getting hammered. It's not great for when you've really gone over the top and you end up throwing it back up.

I paid for an advance copy a few weeks ago, was issued a ticket entitling me to one copy of the latest Potter saga.
"Did Sir require the children's version or the adult version?"
"Is the adult version more raunchy? Does the adolescent Harry finally get it on with Hermione?"
"No sir, it's just the front cover that's different!"
I opted for the adult one, paying upfront means no queuing, just walk in and show the ticket they give you the book straight from the box;)
I did tell the boy I was reading it before him as I stumped up the cash:o
