Citizenship test - does anyone fail?
Got my citizenship test coming up, and have tried to learn the answers. Any hints and tips or is it a straightforward multi choice and then you're away?
If you don't get the pass mark can you retake on the day? It says you 'might be able to'

The "snapshot" report on this page of the Citizenship website has some stats about this.

Unless they are really busy you can retake it straight away - did mine in Brisbane, there were only three of us there and we were told it could be done again on the day if necessary

Yes, people do fail. If English is not your first language or you haven't studied for the test it's possible. But as Polly says, you can usually take another test straight away.

Just learn the mandatory ones. Be aware that you have to give up other citzenships if you want to be a member of govenment etc. Others you can guess if know rough dates, how many states etc.

I got 95% after struggling with a strangely worded question. My hubby got 100% and is bragging big time. But 45 mins to answer the questions? In and out of there in 5!
