Christmas decorations!

Rather than get bogged down in the real tree/fake tree debate this year, I decided to take things in a different direction.
I grew a vine screen instead!

It has taken me the best part of 12 months to train, trim and weave this vine into its current shape.

A few more decorations:

Top of the spa needs a bit of tidying up, but I'll think of something to make it look nicer.
Does anyone else have some innovative Christmas decorations they'd like to share?

There is no way I could sit under that. You see screening and lights, I see spiders by the million.
Looks lovely though - from a long long way away!

That's pretty cool, I'd have to have an actual Christmas tree as well though. Does that vine make nice grapes?

No spiders; never seen any in the grapevine, and we've been here two years already.
Unfortunately no grapes either; it's a glory vine. But we do have some proper grape-growing vines along the back fence, and they produce a few nice bunches every year.

Looks great Vash . . . nice bit of screening for you and the missus in the hot-tub . . . but tell me can your neighbours hear you through the grapevine?
