The Christmas 2013 thread

It's that time of year again! The Christmas decorations are up at my local shopping mall and foods have been for sale for more than a month already. Time to get with the mood!

You don't get to talk about the solstice celebrations till after Bonfire Night at the earliest.

To me it means having a two week break from work and spending much of it with my family and friends. The hard stuff is shopping for presents in the run up - especially here in Australia where there just isn't the variety of online stores selling goods at competitive prices. But my kids are virtually adults now so it's not really a big deal these days...
