FIFA have just banned Chelsea from making any new signings or releasing any of their own players due to irregularities on their part. Should make for an interesting start to season

I can't see it standing up in a court of appeal. On appeal I reckon the punishment will be reduced to something like a limited number during that period instead

Sion and Roma were also banned and on appeal, they cut the length to one transfer window so its still severe and correct.

There is also a chance that the fine could be increased if the appeal fails.Not that the money will bother Chelski.I would expect the appeal to reduce the ban though we will just have to wait and see.Does anyone know how long the appeal will take?

Man United are next on the fifa hit list according to some papers.Don't know how true that is.Sue.
