Default cheer me up!

Hi All.....

well we are now 6 weeks off from moving to Perth... and i guess we have been a bit disorganised as i have spend so much time recently finishing the house off so we can sell it...

i would love to bring my moggies over to perth but have been stressing about the move for them... i think they would cope.. but now i have hit a bigger problem... the quarantine place in perth are full till the end of november.. and i dont really want to rehome the cats here for a few months and then drag them through 35 days of quarantine, so im feeling really down in the dumps.. how is it that 2 little balls of fluff can create so much grief? its stressing me far more than the thought of moving... i know there are thousands of posts on here about people leaving animals and taking them too.. but none of them seem to help!

anyway... i'll shut up now

Send the cats to Sydney for quarantine and then fly them over.

thats been suggested by one company ... they are sorting me a quote out.. apparently tho sydney is filling up fast at the moment as everywhere else is full! it would be good if the talk of quarantine in the UK and then fly to oz happens... but thats taking time apparently.

thanks for the reply tho...

The other option is just to board them for a few weeks before they fly. Ours was at Airpets at Heathrowe for a couple of weeks. It's the expense I suppose but worth looking into.
Sydney might fill up fast but it also empties too!
