cheap accomodation Sydney for 4 nights?
Anyone suggest a place for Turtletom and his 3 mates to stay in Sydney Thursday night to Sunday night. cheap - but pref not a backapckers unless it is ok?
Any one in Sydney also know of any pubs/clubs/bars that play alternate indie music???

I'm be interested if anyone has any recommendations for cheapy hotels in Sidney for my mum who will be spending 4 days there in Jan when she comes to visit. She's not too bothered about what it is like facility wise, as long as it's clean and fairly central.

I can't recomend any specific hotel, but I have used http://www.hotelclub.net/ for hotels in Cairnes, Brisbane and Melbourne; you can usually find pretty good hotels for good rates.
