Any one else sick of these Today Tonight news adds basically trying to work on the insecurity of the population to get ratings.

Every night there is another 'THE RESULTS WILL SHOCK YOU' or 'THE DANGER YOU NEVER KNEW EXISTED' or 'WHAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW'.

At the moment is how milk is going to kills us all. Or how travelling in the car and train tunnels is like sucking a car exhaust. They deliberately pick something that they know the population either all buys or does and hype it up.

I remember a while back it was how a new threat was present from a new breed of wildlife rampaging across Sydney and how it could kill you. Turns out it was about a tick and limes disease, which is a serious condition and worthy of a report if in Sydney, but not this sensationalist reporting! Made it sound like a pride of Lions was on the rampage.

On a few occasions there is a story but the way it is reported is shocking.

News / reporting in Australia is generally poor. I think SBS seems about the best followed by ABC.

TT and ACA aren't news programmes. Granted 7/9/10 are not good but those two progs are trash and considered so by everyone I've ever spoken to.

Even The Project on 10 is a step up from ACA and TT, although it is hideously biased.

It's just tabloid shit for the slack-jawed bovine masses, take no notice.

I mean, I've not watched it but I assume from the trailers my time would be better spent learning Spanish.

And I have no intention of visiting Spain or befriending Spaniards.

They hire actors for these shows, or so I was told.
