I have to say the event was a tad boring. Lots of people milling around but not a lot going on. It was a beautiful day though

The DH just sent me pics of central Canberra (I've been gone 18 months) to show me the changes and to some stent I can see what people mean if that is all they get to see of the place (almg with all the national buildings). Of course, living there is different and the sterility sort of becomes commonplace and you know there is more going on elsewhere but, I hate to admit it, sterile bling was the phrase that sprang to mind when I saw the pics.

I did not intend to say you were a knocker - just outlining a situation where some might like it. And being senior was just an example. I mean someone might be right in the middle of some interesting stuff in their field which meant for them it was all great.

I enjoyed the music at Regatta Point but, yes, the event overall was a bit of a disappointment. Luckily, we had our bikes so it didn't take 3 hours to walk around the lake. And the weather was great. And the lake looked very pretty And, alright I give up. Canberra is a tad boring (sometimes).

I know some friends of ours who are swingers in Canberra!! "Why not join us one weekend at our nudist resort?" "er...no!!" Genuine very short conversation!
