I tried telling my kid when she was 3 that the plural was "meece." Drat if her aunties didn't correct her. I thought it was hilarious.

Hmm...don't have any more moose anecdotes to add besides a friend of mine who went to a Cree community gathering and she said moose nose soup was on the menu. Stringy and not particularly delectable was her opinion. Too bad really as I hear moose steaks are tasty if prepared right.

I'm told reindeer is lovely, which really surprised me, and I've tasted crocodile now, which just kind of melts in the mouth. Guess after those I could give moose a go one day:blink:
