It's brand new.
It is exactly the same one as the one on sale in Oz.
It has a facility to teather and attach to the boot.

If you do a search on here you will find its a subject discussed many times. Whether the UK seats are actually safer than the Aus ones is debated frequently. The issue is that IF you are involved in an accident and IF the insurance company realise the seat does not have the Aus safety markings, the insurance is invalid.
