Can I carry cds to Aus?

Default Can I carry cds to Aus?

I have a couple of software cds with me (like MS Office and some other civil engg design softwares)..
The problem is that these cds are pirated ones !
is there any prob if I take these cds to Australa? ..or shud i copy the softwares to my laptop ?

Does the CD label say Pirated copy, please confiscate ?

You will be OK ... unless of course it does say that

No ...the label doesnt say so

i was worried whether there was any strict anti piracy law in Aus which would enable them to prosecute me!

They're not pirated...They're "backup" copies.

We brought hundereds of CD's to Aus mix of music, back up disc's and computer software disc's didn't have a problem with any.
