Because I've just been to an absolutely shite one. I shan't name it, but its in Quamby Place and it goes by the generic name of a mexican park. Diabolical service and waiting times. Sooo bad in fact I (we) walked out (something I(we) rarely do) after two hours of being plied with bottled water and tortilla chips . . . and no food. Worst restaurant experience in Australia to date. My missus is in the hotel / restaurant business and she was appalled.

I just thought I'd share . . .

Happy New Year all!

Hate it - or should I say the stuff you get served in Mexican restaurants outside of Mexico - stodge, stodge and more stodge.

If you like, I'll push our table outside for ya, knock up a chilli con carne and get my 11 yr old to sing "Guantanamera" on her new karaoke machine that she has just got from Santa..

hmmmm.... now just to cost it per head Noosa style... I'll just go fetch ma calculator.... yep.. about 700 bucks plus 10% for a public holiday...

Em x

Apart fom Emezumas, David Lowe Way, Peregian Beach I dont know any good ones in Noosa (the service is invariably awful at most restaurants up this way at christmas) but theres a great one in Darlinghurst called Cafe Pacifico - the Tequila is dangerous and on the right night the salsa is an experience.
